For as long as I can remember, clothes, fashion, dressing up, beauty has always been my passion. My mom will tell you that she hasn’t touched my hair or picked out my outfit since I was in the first grade. I pride myself on the fact that I have always been that person that my friends and family come to for fashion advice. Whether it be a text asking what shoes go best with an outfit or asking me to find them a dress to wear to an event. I LOVE THAT! There is just something about putting together outfits from top to bottom that sets my soul on fire. I can see one article of clothing and envision the complete look from head to toe. I’ve always joked and said I wanted to shop for a living. So in a way, Simple Lady will allow me to do just that. In turn, I wouldn’t be shopping for myself but for any other woman out there that is needing a piece to add to her wardrobe! I can not tell you how excited I am to begin this new business adventure. Opening my own online store has been a dream of mine for years and for it to finally come to life is a surreal and indescribable feeling.
I want Simple Lady to be a place where women can find clothing that makes them feel beautiful and confident. It could be someone who is looking for a few new pieces to take on a vacation. Or someone looking for new an outfit to wear for date night. Or a new mom who wants a whole new wardrobe to feel like herself again. I have been every single one of those people and it would bring me the greatest joy for my store to be their go-to place to find all the things!
You may be thinking where the name “Simple Lady” came from. I’m sure you have heard the song Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. That song has been one of my favorite songs for my whole life for many reasons. The lyrics are so powerful and honest and I truly feel like they can resonate with everyone. So I changed “man” to “lady” because the message I want Simple Lady to give is to live your life to the absolute fullest; truthfully, kindly and unapologetically all while looking amazing while doing it! So welcome and happy shopping! I am so happy you are here!
